Amos Weiskopf

Background

His career of more than twenty years has moved between writing software, building data systems and research. At university he took Geography in Jerusalem, at the Hebrew University, and Computer Science at York.

Roles he has held

From 2021 to 2023 he led search engine optimization at OurCrowd, a venture investing platform. At a Fortune 500 company he led customer acquisition for a division and brought text analytics into strategy and planning. What he does in an engagement

He writes the software and runs the analysis he recommends. He gives evidence as an expert witness, runs penetration tests, and holds the buyer interviews in a win-loss study himself.

Open-source research

He runs Plague News, which checks official reporting on disease outbreaks against local sources, and three Newsweek articles on global biosecurity events have featured his analysis. The open-source intelligence practice draws on the same skills.
